8#Moose

3D design in Maya of the autonomous 8#Moose (eightonomoose) robot that competed in the autonomous robot challenge Swearc in Linköping. www.swearc.se

Our team of 10 members each had different tasks. The competition was initiated by Fredrik Löfgren (robot judge, winner of the robotics world championship in 2015) together with Linköping University, MakerLink and Makerspace Norrköping.

The theme of SweArc 2016 is transport and travel, and the goal is a robot that can ride the train by itself.

The team leader is Louise Fuchs, who together with 7 others on the team built a Formula 1 electric car at KTH the year before. Most of them now work at various companies such as Volvo electric cars, Atlas Copco, Bombardier and so on. 2 of the participants are currently studying Embedded Systems at KTH.
