Couchsurfers Paradise Kungshatt

In her exhibition series, the curator Sheena Malone has opened a number of exhibitions by artists in their homes. It becomes both a social event and a display of artworks tied to a glimpse of the artist's life and personal context. In this case she invited people to an exhibition at the home of the artist Jens Evaldsson on the island of Kungshatt. The result was a dinner and various performances by members of the art collective in the house, as well as Sheena herself. The audience was treated to a boat trip at sunset, a reading inside a hollow oak, a lecture-performance with the artist Frida Klingberg, a torchlight procession, outdoor video projections and a closing barbecue evening with wine around a fire.
