Flygande Mattan 1

3D-animated patterns resembling a Persian carpet were created for the inauguration of Grafikens Hus in Södertälje Science Park. The artist Saadia Hussain contributed images and certain patterns that were then assembled in the 3D software Maya, creating a moving entrance carpet outside the inauguration hall. A real carpet served as a projection surface on the ground so the texture of a carpet could be felt underfoot.
