Other, Platform Stockholm

Platform is one of Sweden's largest studio collectives and was started by Jens Evaldsson in collaboration with Cameron McLeod. In Beckers' old paint factory, around 100 artists are housed in 67 studios across three floors.

The whole building holds 5 different collectives, and in total the Färgkontoret building houses around 250 creators, artists and designers, making it by far the largest culture house in Sweden. The vision is to create a support platform and meeting place for professional artists and designers in Stockholm.

Although Platform is not an artwork in itself, it is in line with Evaldsson's practice of creating platforms for encounters and collaboration.
